Mineral

Cycled from Ashland to Mineral (48miles) and stayed camped outside a fire station. Met two American guys cycling cross country with a ukulele -I'm not the only one who doesn't pack light. Mineral is an old coal mining town, as the name suggests I suppose.

Lots of horses in buttercup fields, deserted railroads, wooded areas and streams.

Our petrol stations are lacking in Tolkien quotes I think!




The off-track team had better do some vegetation clearance here
